Lode Runner Remake for OSX?
Well, I'm still working on it, if I get time, but hope,
we get a commercial Remake by another publisher, though. Don't expect
publication inside this line.
Other options for playing Lode Runner within MacOS
X:
- Get the DOS-Box from http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/ and
the DOS version of Lode Runner at http://www.the-underdogs.info/. This
DOS version of Lode Runner runs also in Virtual PC unbelievable fast
and only the DOS Box is able to slow down the Lode Runner for smooth
playing.
- Apple ][-Emulators for the Apple ][
version, where are available the most variants (Championship, "Revenge
Of" and a few more). This is the all best way to play Lode Runner on
modern computer systems. This is the recommendest method.
- vMac, a Macintosh Plus emulator, for
the original Mac version, developed by Broderbund in the year
1984.
